When a girl approach the guy first does it has some meaning?

I was sitting down waiting for class in the hallway and this young lady came standing next to me. Then moments later out of nowhere she said " how did you think you do on the test." I said I'm not sure I think I did pretty good. Then she started asking me what is my major and what school I planning to transfer to. Then she begin asking me where I'm from and what high school I went to, basically the 21 questions.. lol.. Even though she likes me or not it is a lesson for me to shoe me how she had the courage to just come to me and break the ice and strike a conversation. That is not easy for anyone to do, I wish I had that courage.
